Maslenitsa 2026 Comes to Valea Adânca

Spring arrives in style on February 22 in the village of Valea Adânca, Kamenka District!

The Cossack Guest House, together with the village administration and the Kamenka District Department of Culture, invites everyone to a grand celebration of spring’s arrival in one of Transnistria’s most picturesque spots. This isn’t just a festival to watch — it’s a full immersion into folk tradition.

The program runs from noon to 4:00 PM at the local community club and includes:

• Performances by folk ensembles
• Lively games and playful contests
• A ceremonial welcome for guests
• Festive photo zones
• Herbal tea brewed over an open fire
• A no-lose lottery
• Russian song bingo (loto)
• Prizes
• Burning of the Maslenitsa effigy at 2:00 PM
• Round dances and singing with the “Cheryomushki” ensemble until 4:00 PM
• Archery (paid)
• A contest for the best Maslenitsa-themed costume, with prizes
