Dniester Embankment

Bendery’s city embankment, built in the 1960s and forming part of Oktyabrsky Park, has long been one of the most cherished public spaces in the city for both residents and visiting guests. The embankment is arranged across two terraces, with the upper terrace near the city registry office having undergone renovation that brought elegant openwork arches and charming swing benches to this already picturesque riverside setting.

A graceful staircase flanked by snow-white balusters leads down toward the river, while a picturesque rotunda provides a focal point that becomes particularly magical when illuminated after dark. Thoughtfully placed pergolas serve a dual purpose throughout the warmer months — adding to the visual appeal of the embankment while providing welcome shade for those seeking comfortable relaxation along the riverside.
