Lenin Monument

Standing opposite the Gorky Cinema in Lenin Komsomol Square, this monument to the leader of the world proletariat presents a dignified figure atop a commanding high pedestal. Cast in bronze, the pedestal bears the single inscription “Lenin,” with the years of his life — “1870 – 1924” — marked below, creating a simple yet striking tribute that has become a familiar landmark in this corner of Bendery’s city center.
