Sports Complex Sheriff

The Sheriff Sports Complex occupies a commanding position at the entrance to Tiraspol from Bendery, spreading across an impressive 50 hectares and encompassing three full arenas, eight training fields, a children’s football academy, a pool with diving towers, tennis courts, a basketball court, a gym and a fitness hall. The complex regularly hosts domestic championship matches, European competitions and international youth tournaments, establishing itself as one of the most significant sporting venues in the entire region.

The main arena serves as the home stadium of Sheriff Football Club, and over the years has welcomed some of football’s most celebrated names: Tottenham Hotspur, Olympique Marseille, Spartak Moscow, Lokomotiv, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dynamo Kyiv, and the national teams of the Netherlands and Austria have all played on this field — a roster of visiting clubs that speaks to the complex’s genuine international standing.

Tennis enthusiasts will find a modern club with 12 courts, including 4 covered indoor courts for year-round play regardless of weather. The Olympic-size indoor pool provides comprehensive infrastructure supporting classical swimming alongside diving, water polo and synchronized swimming disciplines. Excursions to the complex can be booked in advance.
