Harmony of Faith

On April 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the Pridnestrovian State Choir will present its concert “Harmony of Faith.”

Audiences will have a rare opportunity to hear a single-concert retrospective of Orthodox sacred music spanning the 18th through 21st centuries. The program covers more than three hundred years of choral tradition — from the majestic scores of Stepan Degtyaryov and Alexander Arkhangelsky to contemporary works by Anna Havrylets, Sergei Ekimov, and Alexander Korolev.

Performed entirely a cappella, the music brings together the depth of Orthodox spirituality and the richness of choral art, offering a distinctive perspective on the timeless themes of faith, hope, love, and beauty. The choir’s sound serves as a bridge between past and present.

Featured soloists and ensemble members of the State Choir include Honored Artists of the Republic Galina Dede, Ekaterina Kucheryavaya, Dmitry Kadyn, Olga Kovchenko, and Evgeny Lysy; Distinguished Cultural Worker Dmitry Doroshenko; and choir artists Olga Grishchuk, Kristina Chelyadnik, and Rodica Semenkova.

The performance is led by Tatiana Tverdokhleb, People’s Artist of the PMR and the choir’s Artistic Director and Chief Choirmaster.
