New Year’s Run Along the “Murom Trail”

On January 1, residents of Transnistria are invited to kick off 2026 with the “Murom Trail” run. Held annually in honor of the venerable Ilya Muromets, the event is open to anyone who wants to take part.

Participants will gather at noon at the Church of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Russian Church, located near the powder cellar of Tiraspol Fortress on Fedko Street. Following a prayer service and warm-up, runners will set off on the route, finishing at St. Nicholas Church near the ferry crossing.
