Once everyone is ready, feels confident and prepared for the adventure ahead, we’ll embark on the water, setting off from Krasny Oktyabr. The initial stretch offers a perfect blend of excitement and serenity, with opportunities to spot local wildlife and take in the breathtaking scenery. Upon checking in at the charming Imperia Hotel in Kamenka, you’ll be welcomed into cozy wooden houses that offer a stunning view of the river. This unique accommodation provides a rustic yet comfortable experience, perfectly complementing the natural surroundings. Dinner at the “Sofiya” is a delightful culinary experience where you can savor our traditional cuisine. The interior, decorated in national tradition, creates an authentic and cozy atmosphere, enhancing your dining experience. Enjoy dishes like mamaliga, placinta, and sarmale, all made from fresh, local ingredients. This meal is not just about the food; it’s an immersion into the rich cultural heritage of the region.
DAY 2
Breakfast. Departure on water.
On the second day, start your morning with a hearty breakfast at the “Sofiya” café. After it we’ll depart on water, paddling through some of the most picturesque sites along the Dniester River. The journey offers breathtaking views of lush landscapes and charming riverside villages, making each stroke a memorable experience as we head towards our next exciting destination.
Rashkov. Lunch. Walking tour.
After departing for Rashkov, we’ll stop for a delightful lunch at the beautiful café and guesthouse “U Dim Dimychey.” Here, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal featuring local specialties, all served in a charming, rustic setting that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Following lunch, we’ll embark on a walking tour of Rashkov, a town steeped in ancient history. You’ll explore numerous historical sites, including centuries-old ruins and churches, each telling stories of the region’s rich past. Rashkov, with its roots dating back to medieval times, offers a fascinating glimpse into the diverse cultural and historical influences that have shaped our unique region.
Sadki country house.
Arriving at our next checkpoint, Sadki country house, you’ll be welcomed to a picturesque location spread over 4 hectares, nestled between a mountain and woods to the east and the bends of the Dniester River to the west. At this remarkable agro-tourism destination you’ll explore the farm’s diverse offerings, from forest and fruit seedlings to medicinal herbs, and experience unique activities like therapeutic sleeping on beehives and relaxing in the Japanese ofuro tub infused with lavender, linden blossom, and bee products. The landscape design is a treat for visitors, boasting two beautiful lakes, natural springs, and picturesque flower beds and green spaces.
